God’s Word Is Alive and Active

The word of God is something alive and active: it cuts more incisively than any two-edged sword: it can seek out the place where soul is divided from spirit, or joints from marrow; it can pass judgement on secret emotions and thoughts.” Hebrews 4:12

Remember trying to pull a fast one over on your parents and getting caught before you even got started? It was almost as if they could read your mind. It was as though they had “been there, done that.”

Well, they had been there and done that, be it sneaking out of the house, taking the car for a joy ride, or replacing a little gin with water or bourbon with tea.

There really is nothing new under the sun, and the Creator of the sun knows what’s what. He knows your soul and your spirit. He knows your emotions and thoughts. Nothing is hidden from Him, so approach Him for mercy and grace, which is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
