You can’t go online more than five minutes and not see a story or a post about someone who was adopted finding their biological parents or someone sharing their ethnic makeup from one of those DNA tests.

it’s literally in our DNA to want to belong, to have that sense of community, family, and love.
Our family and community give us roots, and the deeper and broader the roots, the stronger and taller the tree, the sweeter and tastier the fruit it produces.
When we know where we came from, we know where we are going.
