Follow The Angels Like Joseph

From today’s reading…

When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home;” Matthew 1:24

Joseph was “an upright man.”

Being upright meant he was open to hearing, receiving, and following God’s word and instructions.

This is why he showed no hesitation in doing what he originally was against, namely, marrying a woman pregnant with a son that was not his.

While that may be somewhat common today, 2,000 years ago, women could be killed for having sex outside of marriage, and Joseph would be shunned, mocked, and ridiculed if he did not “defend his honor” by having her killed.

Be like Joseph. Fight the current fads. Follow the guidance of God, which is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
