Fish For Men and Women

From today’s reading…

And he said to them, ‘Come after me and I will make you fishers of people.’” Matthew 4:22

In Psalm 19 today we read about “this message reaches the whole world.

Romans 10 today drives home the point that we are sent as preachers so the world will know of “the name of the Lord” so they can call on Him and be saved.

Then Matthew ties up today’s concept nicely as Jesus calls His apostles to be “fishers of people.”

For thousands of years this message has been repeated—because we’re stubborn and don’t listen!

It’s time to listen. It’s time to put into practice what we’ve been called to do because the Son of Man who “comes forth from his pavilion like a bridegroom, delights like a champion in the course to be run.”

So start running, i.e. run your mouth for all who will listen, which is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
