Every One of You Needs To Repent

From today’s reading…

Peter said to them,

‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you,

in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins;

and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” Acts 2:38

Notice the prominent role Peter has throughout the Gospels and here in Acts.

Jesus knows we are sheep, and sheep need a shepherd. A Good Shepherd.

It’s why He told Peter three times in John 21:15-17,

Feed my lambs…Tend my sheep…Feed my sheep.”

Because of Peter’s leadership today, “about three thousand persons were added that day.”

Jesus established His Church on earth and He implemented a leadership hierarchy to feed it and tend to it until His return.

Belonging to that Church and following its guidance and instructions is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
