Do you know why we must experience suffering and distress? Because of sin, which makes us vain, arrogant, lazy, know-it-alls.

All loving parents want what’s best for their children. We don’t want them to fall or skin their knees or burn their hands on the stove or get a low score on a test. But most lessons in life must be learned the hard way because of sin.

But God loved us enough to send His only Son to show us the way.

To show us how to bear any cross, how to shoulder any burden. To show us the path the redemption when we fail to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
