Do The Will of He Who Sent Ya

From today’s reading…

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me; I will certainly not reject anyone who comes to me, because I have come from heaven, not to do my own will, but to do the will of him who sent me.” John 6:37-38

God gave you free will, and He wants you to choose to do His will freely, but like any good parent, He won’t lock you in the basement for your entire life just to “keep you safe” from yourself.

Loving parents don’t shelter their children from the trials and tribulations and challenges of the world. Loving parents strengthen their children, so they have the resolve, the wisdom, and the courage to face the trials and tribulations and challenges of the world.

And doing God’s will is how you…

Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.
