Creating Keap CRM Opportunities
Traditional CRMs like Salesforce, which have been created for large enterprises, are Company-centric, which makes sense.
When I was working with a technology company and called on Google, I had built a hierarchy of Google with dozens of contacts that went all the way from the CEO to the executive assistant of the director I was calling on.
However, Keap is built for SMB users, which includes solopreneurs, speakers, authors, and consultants, so it has been created as a Contact-centric CRM.
That being said, you can still create and track Opportunities inside the CRM section of your Keap Max application in a straightforward manner.
As the screenshot above shows, simply navigate to the Opportunities Navigation Bar and select “Add an Opportunity.”
On the next screen begin filling in the blanks with as much information as you have.
You can also create custom fields for your Keap Opportunities to help you track steps or Stages or just additional information that is important in your business.
Note that I have both TSW (The Sales Whisperer) and ICC (Infusionsoft Certified Consultant) tabs to track information relevant to those types of Opportunities.
Once the pertinent information is entered you can begin working the Opportunity through your various Opportunity Stages that can be customized to fit your sales cycle. (I’ll discuss setting up Stages in another section.)
