Be Compassionate Like Your Father

From today’s reading…

My default attitude/approach/communication style is “snark,” which I know is not compassionate.

Even at 50, I can fly off the handle with the best of ‘em, although I have mellowed a bit with age, but not enough.

That being said, if someone is injured or hurting or dejected I do feel for them and will drop what I’m doing to help. So I guess I’m not all bad.

But God didn’t create you and me to be “not all bad.”

He made us to be “all good,” which is unlikely given our fallen nature, but we can get pretty darn close if we’ll only…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
