Are You Out of Your Mind?

From today’s reading…

He went home again, and once more such a crowd collected that they could not even have a meal. When his relations heard of this, they set out to take charge of him; they said, ‘He is out of his mind.’” Mark 3:20-21

Jesus didn’t storm the Capitol or incite riots or form a militia.

He cured fevers, restored sight to the blind, and raised the dead.

He fed thousands, drove out demons, and helped throw a rockin’ wedding party.

He spoke with wisdom and certainty.

He withstood all inquiries and entrapments.

He slept under the stars and in humble abodes, ate with the outcasts and the misfits, and walked everywhere He went…unless He was riding on an ass.

He did this in his own neighborhood, city, and country for three years after living an upright life in the same home for 30 years.

Does that sound like a lunatic?

You will be attacked, ridiculed, de-platformed, and doxxed for speaking the truth. However, that is different from speaking “your truth” or “truth to power” or “power to truth” or whatever current mumbo jumbo is being bantered around today by “thought leaders” to make their non-thinking followers who are incapable of deductive reasoning click the like, subscribe, and share buttons. But I digress.

You are called to find the truth and speak the truth as you live the truth no matter what. This is the way.

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
