Are You Fighting Against God?

From today’s reading…

So now I tell you,

have nothing to do with these men, and let them go.

For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin,

it will destroy itself.

But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them;

you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” Acts 5:38-39

When you attack men and women of God you are fighting God.

When you throw your blind faith and support behind charlatans with nice teeth and hair simply because they tell you what you want to hear, you may also be fighting God.

You know the Truth when you hear it, because it usually conveys a difficult message. It’s something you wish wasn’t true, but you know it is.

So find those who don’t hesitate to tell you what you don’t want to hear.

Find those who are consistent with their message of tough love.

Find those whose message is the same as those who came before them and before them and before them, because it means they have stayed on the proven course and if you follow their guidance, it will help you, also,…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
