Accept His Peace

From today’s reading…

Jesus said to his disciples:

‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.

Not as the world gives do I give it to you.

Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.’” John 14:27

When you’re a kid you “love” your skateboard, your puppy, and pizza.

When you’re a teenager you “love” your stereo, your car, and sleeping in.

When you’re a parent you learn what love is.

As parents we can say “Not as a child do I love.”

So it is with Jesus.

Accept His gift of peace because it’s the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
