A Wonder Am I, Like John The Baptist
From today’s reading…
For so many marvels I thank you; a wonder am I, and all your works are wonders. You knew me through and through, my being held no secrets from you, when I was being formed in secret, textured in the depths of the earth.” Psalm 139:14-15
Would we have Elvis without Colonel Tom Parker?
Would we have Mike Tyson without Cus D’Amato and Don King?
Would we have Carrie Underwood without Simon Cowell?
It never hurts to have someone in your corner.
Someone who believes in you.
Someone shouting from the rooftops and on the street corners saying, “Hurry! Hurry! Step right up!” or “Extra! Extra! Read all about it!”

John was the cousin of Jesus, as well as Jesus’s promoter, advocate, and even baptizer.
We could all use a guy like John in our lives, and Jesus can always use us to be a modern-day John in the world today.

We’ve been formed to cry out in the desert, in the suburbs, and in the plains so everyone knows to prepare a way for the Lord, which is the only way to…
Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.
Now go sell something.
