Solomon was humble, selfless, and only wanted to be the best servant-leader of the people God had placed under his care.

Because of this, he was rewarded in such a way and to such a degree that the name Solomon is synonymous with wisdom to this very day.

It is wise to be like Solomon, to follow in his footsteps. Seek not personal riches, nor a long life, nor retribution against your enemies. Seek only to know right from wrong and the courage to…
